We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Clerk with expertise in bookkeeping, general ledger management, and taxation. Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, handling the full set of accounts, managing the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with taxation and auditing according to Brunei Darussalam standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to financial management.


  1. Bookkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
    • Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
  2. Full Set Accounts:
    • Handle the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  3. Taxation:
    • Prepare and file various tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
    • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
  4. Auditing Support:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
    • Collaborate with auditors to provide necessary information and documentation.
  5. Financial Reporting:
    • Generate regular financial reports for management review.
    • Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making.


Key Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Clerk or similar role.
  • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Experience in handling Brunei taxation and auditing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
